Nobody warns you about the stripe. You buy a pressure washer for a legitimate reason - my patio had reached science-experiment status - and while testing it, you run one careless pass across the driveway. A stripe of clean concrete appears, bright as fresh pour, next to twenty years of gray you'd assumed was the color. From that moment you have two options: pressure-wash the entire property, or explain the stripe to every visitor forever.
Why I finally bought one

The summer of clean
The documented casualties of my first season: driveway (transformative), patio (the original mission, almost an afterthought), fence line, siding's north face, outdoor furniture, garbage bins, a neighbor's walkway in exchange for beer, and the mailbox post, which honestly didn't need it.
